For my presentation next week, I think I’m going with this article written by the Archbishop of Shenyang in 1960 entitled “The Life of Catholics in China.” I’ve given it it’s own page here on my blog, here’s the link.

As China has always seen it, Catholicism is a foreign influence. Therefore, I think this article reveals a lot about Chinese perceptions of the Catholic faith as well as how Catholics dealt with the Mao government.
